Creative Time Summit 2014, live screening at MCAC and Exhibition

Creative Time Summit Screening and Presentations: You are invited to Millennium Court Arts Centre on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th November to view the live broadcast of the 2014 Creative Time Summit, Stockholm; a collaboration between Creative Time, New York and Public Art Agency, Sweden.

The sixth annual Summit will investigate artists’ work as it relates to Nationalisms, Performing The City, Activating Public Space, Art in the Age of Surveillance, and Migrations. Creative Time Summit 2014 will be screened at MCAC between 9.30am and 6pm on both days (14th & 15th November).
On Saturday 15 November, from 1pm, MCAC will host presentations by Rebekah McCabe (PLACE), and artists Nicholas Keogh and Sinéad O’Donnell, whose work relates to the 2014 summit themes Performing the City and Activating Public Space.
2014 Stockholm keynote speakers include Edi Rama & Saskia Sassen, with presentations by Tania Bruguera, Jonas Dahlberg, Jeremy Deller, Dora Garcia, Ghana ThinkTank, Núria Güell, Olga Jitlina, Birgitta Jónsdóttir and many more...
The screenings and presentations are free to attend, on a drop in basis. Light refreshments will be served. A FREE BUS will run from Belfast (12 noon) to Portadown on Saturday 15th November. To book a space contact geraldine@millenniumcourt.
Exhibition: Millennium Court Arts Centre is delighted to present Delmarva Chicken of Tomorrow by Andrea Luka Zimmerman, "a fairytale of production, resources, globalisation, refuse and refusal" and Nightcleaners* by The Berwick Street Collective, a film described as a "landmark work of British political cinema and of collective and feminist film making" (Annette Kuhn).
