Closer Distancing
‘Closer Distancing’ was a curated artist exchange by Thai artist Chumpon Apisuk funded by the British Council programme Connections through Culture. Hosted at Asiatopia Foundation and supported by Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Flax Art Studios & Golden Thread Gallery.
From 05-09 March 2021 artists Chumpon Apisuk, Sinéad O’Donnell, Michael Hornblow, Padungsak Kochsomrong and Sutasinee Kansomdee developed new performance works, with 4 Thai artists together physically in Nan, Thailand and Sinéad O’Donnell participating virtually from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
